The “Shop with the Sheriff Charity” began in 1995 and has proven to be a successful method of improving the quality of life to hundreds of less fortunate children within the boundaries of Cumberland County. This has only been possible due to the generous support given by unselfish individuals such as yourself and businesses throughout Cumberland County. We hope this year the Shop with the Sheriff Charity will continue to grow and reach out to more less fortunate children in our community. Deputies assigned to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Community Policing Unit will begin soliciting donations from individuals and businesses throughout Cumberland County in an effort to make this year’s Shop with the Sheriff Charity a memorable and meaningful event for the children of Cumberland County.
Deputies of the Community Policing Section and Motors Section will host a Charity Motorcycle Ride Fundraiser. One hundred percent of all funds raised will go towards the Shop with the Sheriff Charity . This fundraising event is currently scheduled for September 8, 2018 at 9:30am, with a rain date the following week September 15, 2018 at 9:30am. The starting and ending location will be in the rear parking lot of the Fuller Center at 314 Jasper St. Directions of the route will be provided on the day of registration.
Donations will be used to purchase personal hygiene products, clothes, school supplies and a gift for Christmas for referred children of Cumberland County.
