What are the Jail visiting hours?

The Jail visiting hours are from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday.

Is there a visitor dress code at the jail?

Yes, please see the following list:

  1. No revealing clothing.
  2. No shirt or other apparel with writing.
  3. No shorts.
  4. No halter tops, bikini tops, or tube tops.
  5. No see-though clothing that reveals private body parts.
  6. No clothing that exposes the bear midriff.
  7. No mini skirts.
  8. No pants worn bellow the waistline exposing the buttock area.

What am I not allowed to bring into Jail when I am visiting?

The following items are not allowed:

  1. Metal / Glass Items
  2. Briefcases
  3. Umbrellas
  4. Food / Drink Items
  5. Weapons, pocket knifes, etc.
  6. Mace / Pepper Spray

Do you honor my out of state concealed carry?

Yes we honor every state.

If I am military am I exempt from concealed carry class?

No, you have to learn NC laws

Do I need additional documents if I am military?

Yes, if you are active duty you need a 1380 from the PMO station and if you are discharged/retired we need the member 4 copy of your DD214.

Can I walk in for fingerprints?

No, you have to have an appointment.

How long is a 1380E good for?

5 business days.

How do I get a criminal record check?

Print the “criminal records check request” form off of our website and fill out top portion and mail to us with $8 money order to CCSO special services at 131 Dick St Fayetteville, NC 28301

Can I get a permit at the age of 18?

Conclealed carry permit holders must be at least 21 years of age.

What will work as proof of residency?

A utility bill with current address that is over 30 days old, vehicle registration, lease/mortgage or hunting or fishing license
